- dealing with medical costs or personal challenges which makes it impossible to buy even the most essential household items
- living in unstable housing situations, staying in temporary accommodation, or experiencing homelessness and there are no funds left to cover food and essentials.
- Supporting a family member in need and balancing the cost of caring for an elderly or sick loved one while struggling to make ends meet.

- The selection and collection of items is done directly from the vending machine, and it is up to each individual to choose the items from the vending machine that best suit their needs.
